Learning Activities

Description. Students will learn how to use AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance their understanding of basic physics concepts through interactive tasks.

LA1: Contextualization (5 minutes)

The teacher introduces the purpose of the task:

  • Shows a short demo on the projector of ChatGPT answering a simple physics question.
  • Divides the class into small groups and provide each group with a computer or tablet.

Introduces a physics concept, such as Newton’s Laws of Motion, Energy, or Waves.

LA2: Worksheet (30 minutes)

Students are divided into groups and given the task of completing the worksheet.

  • Each group is provided with a set of questions related to the chosen concept and have them use ChatGPT to find the answers.

Each group has a short task related to the physics concept discussed.

LA3: Presentation and Discussion (10 minutes)

  • Asking students to share their thoughts on using Math GPT. Did they find it helpful? What did they learn?
  • Addressing any questions or concerns about using technology in solving math problems.

Emphasizing the importance of understanding the underlying math concepts, not just relying on technology for answers.
