Main Idea

This lesson introduces 7-9 grade students to the basics of exploring artificial intelligence in Physics. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to understand the basics of artificial intelligence and its applications in the field of physics.

Learning Activities

DescriptionThis lesson introduces 7-9 grade students to the basics of exploring artificial intelligence in Physics. By the end of this lesson, students will be able to understand the basics of artificial intelligence and its applications in the field of physics.

LA1: Contextualization (5 minutes)

The teacher introduces the purpose of the task.

Teacher presents examples of how AI is used in the field of physics. This could include simulations of complex systems, data analysis in particle physics, or predicting outcomes in quantum mechanics.

LA2: Worksheet (30 minutes)

Students are given the task of completing the worksheet. Tasks:

    1. Students have to use the ChatGPT tool to ask questions related to physics concepts. ChatGPT will provide responses to help understand and learn about the topic.
    2. Students have to ask at least 5 different questions about any physics concept they are studying.
    3. Students have to write down the questions they asked and the responses they received from ChatGPT.

LA3: Presentation and Discussion (10 minutes)

Students reflect on how ChatGPT can assist in learning of physics.
